This highly practical two-day Introduction to Diagnostic MSK Ultrasound course is designed by clinicians working in MSK point-of-care and Radiology settings. It is tailored to specifically meet the needs of health professionals looking to develop their clinical skills using diagnostic imaging.
The course aims to enhance awareness of diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound and its potential impact on clinicians' practice. It provides a valuable learning opportunity, using numerous case study examples, and is ideal for beginners or those with limited scanning experience.
During this training, participants will become familiar with scanning all peripheral joints. They will receive lectures covering basic physics, pathology case studies, the integration of ultrasound into clinical practice, an overview of clinical governance and regulation, presenting a business case for ultrasound, and an introduction to ultrasound-guided injections.
